Is there a catch?
No. There is no account, no telemetry-for-access trade, and no feature held back for a paid edition. What you download is the whole product.
Is it open source?
Not currently — Omni Console is free to use, but the application source is not published. The Modbus device library is an open catalogue.
Can I use it at work?
Yes — commercial use is fine, on as many devices as you like. Please review the licence terms for the details.
Do I need to do anything to keep using it?
No. There is nothing to renew, re-activate or check in with. It keeps working offline, indefinitely.
