This Privacy Policy explains how Omnicore Stratejik Teknolojiler Ltd. Şti. (“we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the Omni Console website (omniconsole.dev) and desktop application. We take a privacy-first approach: the application runs locally on your machine, and the website is built to collect as little as possible.
Data controller
Omnicore Stratejik Teknolojiler Ltd. Şti., TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent, Gebze/Kocaeli, Türkiye. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly. It gives us aggregate, non-identifying statistics (such as page views and referrers) and does not build a profile of you or track you across sites.
We also use Microsoft Clarity for product analytics and anonymised session insights (heatmaps and session recordings, with form inputs masked by default) to improve the site. Clarity sets cookies and processes data as a Microsoft service. It runs by default; you can opt out at any time via the cookie notice or “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.
Downloading the software
Omni Console is free and requires no account, so we do not collect payment details and there is nothing to register. Installers are served from GitHub Releases; downloading them is subject to GitHub’s own privacy practices.
Support
If you email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message to respond and provide support.
The desktop application
Omni Console runs locally. Captured serial data and your trace stay on your machine. The optional built-in automation server (MCP) binds to 127.0.0.1 only and is not exposed to the internet. The application may contact our update endpoint to check for new versions; these requests are not used to identify you.
How we use data
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- To operate, secure and improve the website and software;
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK applies, we rely on: our legitimate interests (to run and improve the Service securely); and consent where required. Cookieless aggregate analytics (Cloudflare) and our cookie-based analytics and session insights (Microsoft Clarity) rely on our legitimate interest in understanding usage and improving the Service; you can opt out of Clarity at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed: Cloudflare (website hosting and cookieless analytics), Microsoft (Clarity — analytics and session insights; opt-out available), GitHub (hosting the downloadable releases), and our email provider. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet any legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are used as required by law.
Children
The Service is intended for professional and general audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
